Since when did "Top 40" become "Only 40"? I'm sick to death of hearing the same songs over and over again...considering they're all just a regurgitation of other songs in the same genre. I can't tell anyone apart from anyone else anymore, except for Rihanna because she sounds like a congested weasel. Really, why are you singing through your nose? It doesn't sound good.
Also, what happened to original music? What's with all these "mashups"? Everyone knows that Kid Rock has no talent, but did he really need to rip off Warren Zevon and Lynyrd Skynyrd in one fell sweep? What an abortion. The Pussycat Dolls rip off Electric Light Orchestra, Rihanna rips off Gloria Jones and Tainted Love, and no one can come up with anything new.
Why doesn't anyone push the limits anymore? Why are all hip-hop songs backed with slow clapping beats and all "rock" artists can only manage three consecutive chords? If you can't be original, get the hell off my radio. ><;;
